Arthur Kostanian
Attorney at law
Arthur is a dedicated New Mexico attorney with a strong foundation in criminal defense, municipal prosecution, and family law. Born in Armenia and raised in Albuquerque, he combines deep local roots with a global perspective, offering clients both empathy and strategic legal insight. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico, Arthur attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego and was admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico. He began his legal career as a trial attorney with the Public Defender’s Office, where he defended clients facing serious criminal charges. He later served as an Assistant City Attorney in Rio Rancho, gaining valuable experience in prosecution and case-building from the other side of the courtroom. Arthur’s transition into family law—particularly divorce and child custody—draws on his extensive litigation background. His ability to navigate high-stakes, emotionally charged cases with calm, clarity, and precision makes him a steadfast advocate for his clients.
